Jamie Leweling, a forward born in Germany with Ghanaian roots, continued his impressive performance in the Bundesliga. He scored a crucial goal for VfB Stuttgart in their 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Leweling, who is 22 years old, played a key role in helping VfB Stuttgart secure the victory. They are aiming for UEFA Champions League qualification and showed their dominance, especially in the first half of the game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The scoring started with Serhou Guirassy, a forward from Guinea, who made history for VfB Stuttgart by scoring his 25th Bundesliga goal, surpassing Mario Gomez’s record. Denis Undav then quickly doubled the lead in the 17th minute, just six minutes after Guirassy’s goal. Finally, Leweling sealed the victory with his fifth goal of the season in the 37th minute.

Leweling, who comes from Nurnberg, Germany, and has Ghanaian heritage, hasn’t played for the senior national team of Germany yet. However, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of playing for the Ghana national team, known as the Black Stars.

Although he was called up by former Black Stars coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor, he couldn’t join the team for the match. Despite this, Leweling has demonstrated his talent while representing Germany at various youth levels.
