Huddersfield Town striker Collin Quaner is glad with his club’s pre-season preparations so far.

The gangling German-born Ghanaian attacker spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town but he is back to his parent club. He is also having pre-season training with them ahead of the new campaign.

“It has been good for everyone to have a good, long, off-season and now it’s good to make a fresh start,” Quaner told Examnerlive.

“Pre season has been quite good, we are doing everything on the pitch- everything is football specific, which is the best thing that can happen for a football player.”

“We are doing everything with the ball, so we are preparing the best. It’s been good.”

Quaner, who has already being scouted by Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah for a future Ghana call up alsl mentioned that his loan deal with Ipswich Town went well.

“For me, the loan deal at Ipswich Town was really good, I must say. I got back playing, I got back being on the field scoring goals and making assists so all in all it was quite positive for me,” he added.
