Clubs in the Ashanti region have sent well wishes to candidates aspiring for a position on the Ghana Football Association Executive Council from the region.
Owner of Asokwa Deportivo and head of the Ashanti region Premier League and Division One Unity, Mr. Abdulai Amidu (Kamara) in an interview with Dailymailgh.com expressed the group’s willingness to support their members vying for positions at the FA.
“We would like to wish all our members who are contesting for the GFA Executive Council position from Ashanti region the best of luck in the upcoming elections and we will be praying and supporting them through thick and thin no matter what.”
Mr. Amidu also added: “The Unity group is ever ready to offer our services to members in any way we can to ensure they come out successful in the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council elections come 25th October 2019.”
