Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew was on target for Le Havre against Strasbourg AC in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday afternoon at home.
The Ghana captain played full throttle for his team as they won 3-1 at home to move three points above the relegation zone ahead of the last two games of the season.
Yaccine Kechta broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after 24 minutes of the match with a very well taken goal.
Five minutes after the hour mark, Kechta added to the team’s advantage with his second strike on the day to make it 2-0 with 25 minutes to the end of the game.
Frédéric Guilbert reduced the deficit to one four minutes away from the full time whistle but the Ghana International, Ayew made it 3-1 at the end of the match.
The 34 year old has five goals for the French Ligue 1 outfit this season.
