Ghana’s Black Stars coach CK Akonnor has picked a 23-man squad for Ghana’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games with Sudan.
The Black Stars are set to face the Sudanese opponent twice in successive games – first at Cape Coast on March 27 and in Omdurman three days after – with the look to build on our unblemished record in Group C of the qualifying.
Tariq Fosu of English Championship side Brentford FC and Hapoel Ra’anana of Israel striker Eugene Ansah have been given their debut call-up by the Ghana gaffer.
Four locally based players in the persons of Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Kwadwo Amoako (AshantiGold), Habib Mohammed (Asante Kotoko) and Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana Stars) have all been given the chance to shine with the senior national team.
