Ghana’s coach, Otto Addo, exudes confidence in his team’s readiness for the upcoming clash against the Central African Republic in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Scheduled to unfold at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday, June 10, with a kick-off at 19:00 GMT, the match promises to be a fierce battle as Ghana braces for the fourth matchday of the qualifying series.
Addressing the press on Sunday evening, Addo provided insights into the team’s status following their hard-fought 2-1 victory against Mali amid challenging weather conditions on June 6.
“We had a few players nursing injuries, but it appears that everyone will be available for training today,” he affirmed.
“I’m optimistic that all our players will be fit for tomorrow’s game.”
With Ghana currently occupying the third spot in Group I, amassing six points, the team trails behind Madagascar and Comoros, both also tied at six points but boasting a superior goal difference over the Black Stars.
A victory against the Central African Republic could propel Ghana to the top of the standings, positioning them favorably in the quest for World Cup qualification.
