Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has surprisingly booted out In-form Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil from the Ghana team.

The KRC Genk player has been one of the most important players for his club this season in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.

Despite scoring goals and providing assists in the Belgium top-flight this season for Blue and Whites outfit, the former Tema Youth player has been excluded from the squad.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian international has scored three goals and provided one assist in seven matches this season in the Belgium top-flight.

Since Otto Addo took over as Ghana coach, Paintsil has barely been given a chance to shine on the field and has eventually been booted out of the team.

Ghana will play Brazil on September 23 at the Stade de Oceane in Le Harve and will take on minnows Nicaragua days later.
