Ghana defender Awal Mohammed joins Nigerien side Police

Ghanaian defender Awal Mohammed has signed for Nigerien giants AS Police on a two-year deal.

Awal, 25, joins the Niamey-based club as they seek a long lasting solution to their defensive woes.

The talented guardsman has previously festured for Asokwa Deportivo (Kaaseman), Great Olympics, Medeama SC and also for Star Madrid FC last season before local football came to an abrupt end.

He will be very instrumental as AS Police are eager to wrestle the Ligue 1 title from SONIDEP FC.
