Ghanaian forward Malik Abubakari will return to Swedish club Malmo FF this month after concluding his loan spell at Viborg.
The 24-year-old striker joined Viborg on a six-month loan deal in January. Despite his efforts, which included scoring two goals in 13 appearances, Viborg has decided not to exercise their purchase option.
As a result, Abubakari will rejoin Malmo FF, where his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Since leaving Accra-based Charity Stars in 2016, Abubakari has played for several clubs, including Portuguese sides Moreirense and Casa Pia. He has also had stints with HJK Helsinki in Finland and Slovenian team Slovan Bratislava.
