Ghana forward Zakaria Mugeese scores brace as Ashdod beat Hapoel Tel Aviv

Ghana forward Zakaria Mugeese scored twice for FC Ashdod in the Israeli Premier League on Saturday afternoon away at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The Ghanaian attacker bagged an impressive brace with two special strikes to give his team a very important win on the road in the Israeli top-flight.

Daniel Einbinder grabbed the first goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after 24 minutes of the match with a cool strike as the opening half ended 1-0 to the home team.

Just two minutes into the second half of the match, Mugeese, who’s a former Eleven Wonders attacker grabbed the equalizer to restore parity after 47 minutes.

With four minutes to the end of the match, the 21-year-old former Ghana U20 player scored the winning goal for the away team to snatch all three points after the game.

He has four goals and one assist this season in the league for his team.
