Ghana’s box-to-box midfielder Richard Boateng scored his fourth La Liga II goal for Alcorcon on Friday evening.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian has been instrumental for Alcorcon this season with some fine performances and has also contributed his quota with an impressive four goals so far in the Spanish second tier.

Real Oviedo scored an 11th minutes goal to go in front through Borja Sanchez’s strike before Edgar Barcenas added the second four minutes later to give the away team a two-goal lead within the first 15 minutes of the match.

Boateng pulled one back for the home team in the 22nd minutes to half the deficit before half time.

The Ghanaian was subbed off on the hour mark by his manager to pave way for Daniel Romera.

Barcenas scored his second on the night on the 74th minute to make it 3-1 to Real Oviedo.

Alcorcon remain on 10th position on the league log after suffering a disappointing 3-1 defeat at home to the resilient Real Oviedo side.
