Ghana Premier League winners Medeama SC beat Remo Stars to progress in CAF Champions League

Ghanaian champions Medeama SC won 3-2 in the CAF Champions League prelims first round on Sunday afternoon in Nigeria.

The Ghana Premier League winners have defeated Remo Stars 3-2 on penalties to advance to the next round of the CAF Champs League.

 

Medeama SC won the first leg by a lone goal in Ghana at the Cape Coast stadium last week Sunday through Jonathan Sowah’s long range strike.

The Nigeria club also won 1-0 today after 90 minutes as the game traveled to penalties shootouts which was eventually won 3-2 by the Ghana Premier League champions

Medeama SC has advanced to the next stage of the 2023-24 CAF Champions League competition.
