Ghana qualifies for Paris Olympic Games in Bahamas

On Day 2 of the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas, Ghana’s 4x100m men’s relay team secured their place in the Paris Olympic Games with an impressive performance.

 

Ibrahim Fuseini, Isaac Botsio, Benjamin Azamati, and Joseph Paul Amoah represented Ghana on Sunday, bouncing back from a disappointing performance on the previous day.

 

Competing in Heat 2 at the Thomas A Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, the Ghanaian team clocked a time of 38.29s, a season best, securing their spot in the Summer Games.

 

Joseph Paul Amoah recorded the fastest time of 9.12s, ensuring Ghana finished as winners of the Round 2 heat.
