Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus opened his goal account for English Premier League side West Ham United FC in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

The Ghanaian international found the back of the net for his team to put them 2-1 up after trailing earlier in the game against TSC Backa Topola.

He was set up by In-form James Ward Prowse to score his first ever goal for the home team since his move from AFC Ajax Amsterdam.

Kudus played a role in the club’s first goal-an equalizer- when he forced Nemanja Petrovic to direct a cross into his own net.

Backa Topola had taken the lead in the 45th minute through Petar Stanic.

Tomas Soucek climbed off the bench to score the third goal for the Hammers who made a winning start to their campaign.
