Ghana youth player Joselpho Barnes joins Excelsior

Black Satellites forward Joselpho Barnes has signed for Belgian second tier club Royal Excelsoir Virton on a two-year deal.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward moves to the Belgian Proximus League side on a free transfer after leaving Germany side Schalke 04 this summer following the expiration of his contract.

The Ghanaian youth is on the verge of playing a key role in the set up of manager Christophe Gregoire as they eye Jupiler League qualification this season.

Barnes was part of the Ghana national Under 20 team which won the AFCON in Mauritania earlier this year.
