Ghana@63: Well done but Monday is not holiday – GES to students, teachers

Monday, March 9 is not a Statutory Public Holiday for schools, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has said.

A statement signed by the Director-General of the GES, Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, said teachers, pupils, and students are to take advantage of the weekend to rest and fully refresh themselves to resume academic work on Monday 9, 2020.

The GES, however, congratulated teachers, students and pupils for their encouraging turnout and participation in various activities that took place across the country to mark the 63rd Independence Day Celebration.
