Ghanaian-born German midfielder Daniel Kyereh was on the score sheet for Wehen in their home defeat to Holstein Kiel on Saturday.
The 23-year-old scored his second goal in the 2019/20 season for the newly promoted Bundesliga II side as his team suffered a humiliating 3-6 defeat at home.
Manuel Shaffler converted a minute penalty to give the home team the lead.
Holstein Kiel equalized three minutes later after conceding with a well taken goal from winger Emmanuel Iyoha.
The away team went in front for the first time in the game with 21 minutes on the clock when star man Alexander Muhling finished off a nice build up play and added to the away team’s advantage six minutes later with a well taken penalty.
Before the half hour mark, the away team found the back of the net again with a cool finish from Janni Serra.
Kyereh reduced the deficit to two on 30th minute with a beautiful goal to give the home side a little bit of hope going into the break.
Soon after recess, the away team restored their three goals advantage to make it 5-2 in the 50th minute.
Shaffler scored his second goal on the day for Wehen in the 52nd minutes.
Holstein Kiel sealed a comfortable win in the 90th minutes with an excellent finish from Jonas Meffert to make Wehen 3-6 Holstein Kiel.
