Ghana’s Black Stars right-back Tariq Lamptey bagged two assists in Brighton and Hove Albion’s away win over FALLEN giant Manchester United FC.
The versatile Ghana International who was deployed as a makeshift left-back provided the assists for the Blue and Whites outfit second and third goals respectively against the Red Devils.
He played 77 minutes on the field of play before he was taken off in a one sided game for the Seagulls.
Danny Welbeck scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just 20 minutes of the match with Lamptey setting up Pascal Gross to make it 2-0 in the second half after 53 minutes.
Nineteen minutes to the end of the match, Lamptey set up Joao Pedro to score the third goal to make it two assists with the Blue and Whites leading 3-0 after 71 minutes.
Hannibal Mejbri came from the bench to score a consolation goal for the home team team as it ended 3-1 to the visitors.
