Ghanaian international attacker Kamal Sowah scored the winning goal for Standard Liège in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Saturday afternoon away at Oud-Haverlee Leuven.
He grabbed the winning goal with a beautiful strike for his team as they travel won on the road to gradually get out of the relegation zone.
Sowah joined the club on loan from Club Brugge KV and lasted the entire duration of the match for his team in their 2-1 win which takes them 12th position on the table with 10 points and temporarily out of the drop zone.
Just before the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Wilfred Kanga scored the opener for the visitors to make 1-0 at halfway to Standard Liège.
Hamza Mendy restored parity for the home team four minutes after the hour mark with a fine finish to make it one all with 26 minutes left to play.
Ten minutes away from the full time whistle, Sowah scored the winner for the Red and Whites outfit as they won 2-1 on the road.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has two goals in three matches for the Red and Whites team.
