Kelvin Yeboah, a Ghanaian-Italian attacker, scored a goal for Standard Liege in their match against OH Leuven in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.
Even though his team lost 3-1 at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion, the 23-year-old attacker played the entire game and put in a great performance.
Yeboah’s goal came in the 43rd minute, giving his team the lead as they went into halftime.
However, OH Leuven quickly equalized at the start of the second half, with Youssef Maziz scoring just one minute after the break.
OH Leuven then went on to score two more goals, securing the win and all three points.
Nachon Nsingi scored OH Leuven’s second goal in the 74th minute, followed by Jon Thorsteinsson who sealed the victory for the home team.
Kelvin Yeboah joined Standard Liege on loan from Genoa during the January transfer window.
Since joining, Yeboah has played 12 games for Standard Liege, scoring four goals and providing one assist during that time.
