Dutch Eredivisie side Willem II Tilburg are interested in signing Leeroy Owusu from De Graafschap.

The Tricolores are currently looking for a right back following a knee injury to Fernando Lewis who has been sidelined for seven months.

Willem assistant trainer Gery Wink was the coach of Owusu during his time at the Ajax Under-20 and Dailymailgh.com understands that it was him who proposed the Dutch-born Ghanaian.

De Graafschaap have already stated they will allow Owusu to move to any top level club if an offer comes.

German second tier club St. Pauli have also made an offer for the 23-year-old lateral defender.
