Highly-rated Ghanaian attacking midfielder Levy Nene has secured a move to Danish top-tier team FC Nordsjaelland ahead of the upcoming season.
The 18-year-old joins Nordsjaelland from the Right to Dream Academy on a permanent basis, continuing his development at the club. Nene will be reuniting with his former school and football teammate Caleb Yirenkyi at Nordsjaelland.
Nene is expected to travel to Farum at the end of the current season to begin his journey with the Danish club. He is the latest player from the Right to Dream Academy to join FC Nordsjaelland, following in the footsteps of Araphat Mohammed and Caleb Yirenkyi.
Renowned for his dribbling skills, Nene has been widely tipped to achieve great success in his football career. Expressing his enthusiasm about the move, Nene said, “I am super excited to have signed the contract with FC Nordsjaelland. I see it as a fantastic opportunity to be part of such a talented environment. I can’t wait to get started and give everything I have on the pitch.”
Though eligible to play for Ivory Coast, Nene has not yet made an appearance for any of Ghana’s national teams. Like other graduates from the Right to Dream Academy, he is expected to follow the path of notable alumni such as West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana of Southampton, and Osman Ibrahim, who is set to join Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
