Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is in no rush to leave Atletico Madrid, although he is uncertain about the future.
The talented central midfielder has been a subject of interest from several big teams across Europe including PSG and Manchester United, but insists his focus is on his current club for now.
“I always think about the present. Now I am here and I think about giving it every year,” Partey told Mundo Deportivo.
“In the future, you never know what will happen. I think about Atletico and giving everything. I arrived as a child, this club welcomed me. Now I am a player and also a fan.
“All I have achieved is thanks to this club and I am grateful,” he noted.
Partey is expected to start this evening when Atletico Madrid host Juventus at the Wanda Metropolitano in the Uefa Champions League Group D game.
