Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye is happy following his side’s progress to the Group stage of the 2019/2020 UEFA Champions League.

Red Star Belgrade drew 1-1 with Young Boys at the Rajko Mitic Stadium but made it to Europe’s elite club competition on away goal rule after drawing the first leg 2-2.

Boakye, who led the attack of his club, could not hide his excitement as he lauded his club.

“We’ve done it again; it’s champions league football Red Star Belgrade,” Boakye tweeted.

This is the second successive time Red Star Belgrade have made it to the Group Stages of the UEFA Champions League in recent years.

Despite failing to progress out of Group C in the competition last year, they beat eventual winners Liverpool 2-0 in Serbia.
