Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban scores in Trabzonspor’s Cup win

Ghanaian International striker Caleb Ekuban was on target for Trabzonspor in the Turkish Cup on Thursday.

The Ghanaian netted his first goal for the club after two months out in the injury room against lower league outfit Altay.

English attacker Daniel Sturbridge opened the scoring inside 51st minutes for the home team.

The 22-year -old Ghanaian added to the home team’s advantage five minutes after Sturbridge’s opener making it 2-0 before the hour mark.

Sturbridge scored his second in the 63 minutes with Ivanildo Fernandes making it 4-0 19 minutes to full time.

The visitors got a consolation goal on the 83rd minute mark with a goal from Marco Paixao to make it 4-1 on the day and 6-1 on aggregate.
