Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena was officially named as the Hyundai Most Valuable Player on Sunday as Real Zaragoza battered Alcoron 3-0 in the Spanish Segunda Liga.
Dwamena, who is on loan from Alaves, was the star player at the Stadio Oliber De La Fuente Ramos as he tormented the Alcoron defenders for the entire duration of the game.
He netted his club’s opener with a superb strike in the 12th minute and always looked threatening in the opponents’ half as Luis Suatez and Carlos Vigaray added one each in the 42nd and 90th minute respectively.
The goal was Dwamena’s first for Real Zaragoza in the Spanish second tier league so far this season.
