Ghanaian striker Jordan Mintah netted thrice for Kaya FC in the Filipino topflight on Sunday as they walloped Global Cebu 5-1.
Mintah, who has been the top scorer in the Philippine league for the past two seasons, opened the scoring for his side in the eighth minute before adding up in the 27th minute and rounding the opposing keeper to complete his hat-trick in the 37th minute.
The talented attacker has been the livewire of Kaya FC as they sit second on the league log with 37 points and remain unbeaten in their last five league games.
Mintah, 24, played for Kessben FC and Wassaman before moving to Philippines in 2014 to join Stallions FC where he spent three seasons before being signed by Kaya FC.
He is one of the three foreign players the Asian country is seeking to naturalize for their national team in the near future.
