Ghanaian striker William Owusu scored twice on his debut for Ajman Club in the UAE Pro League on Thursday night as they went away to record a 2-2 draw with Baniyas.
Owusu was the star at the Baniyas Stadium in Abu Dhabi as he scored in each half to get a point for his club.
The experienced striker who was signed as a free agent this summer after leaving Royal Antwerp was a torn in the flesh of the Baniyas defenders as they found it difficult to close him down.
He netted the opener two minutes before recess and added the second with a sweet finish in the 82nd minute before Ayanda Patosi responded a minute later to make the game even.
Owusu has previously played for Sporting Lisbon and a host of clubs in Europe.
