Ghanaian teenage sensation Stephen Acquah has completed a move to Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.
The 18-year-old defender will initially join the U19 side as he continues his football development. Acquah will travel to Farum at the end of the season to join Nordsjaelland permanently from the Right to Dream Academy.
Acquah is the latest addition from the Right to Dream Academy to join FC Nordsjaelland, following Levy Nene, Araphat Mohammed, and Caleb Yirenkyi.
Renowned for his defensive prowess, the rising star has been tipped for a promising future in football. “I am very happy to sign a contract with this fantastic club. I am ready to learn and develop every single day and to listen to the many good people in the club. I will give my very best for FCN and I feel ready to take this next step in my development,” Acquah said.
Like other graduates from the Right to Dream Academy, Acquah is expected to follow in the footsteps of notable alumni such as West Ham star Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana of Southampton, and Osman Ibrahim, who is set to join Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.
