Ghanaian winger Koby Arthur is having trials with English fourth tier side Walsall FC as he seeks to be signed in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Arthur, 23, was released by Macclesfield Town this summer after an unimpressive season which saw him making 20 League 2 appearances and scoring thrice.

Once touted among the best youth players in England during his days at Birmingham City, Arthur’s career has taken a nosedive as he has struggled to shine.

Arthur played for Liberty Professionals in Ghana before moving to England where he started his career at Woodford United. Subsequently, he was signed by Birmingham City in 2013 and spent four years there before being released in 2017.

He also featured for Cheltenham Town and Lincoln City on loan.
