Ghanaian international Alfred Duncan is in no rush to leave Italian Serie A side Sassuolo, despite serious interest from Galatasaray, Seville among others.

The central midfielder mentions that he is enjoying his football with the Neroverdi and that is what matters most to him right now.

“Sassuolo is a point of arrival for me. I like here very we. Is an ambitious club and we are like a family, for me is my everything,” Duncan told Tutto.

“With the manager (De Zerbi), I play the football I always dreamt of as a child. Playing with my companions, I enjoy so much.

“We want to have fun and have fun but this year, in addition to the beauty of the game, we need to get results,” he added.

Duncan who netted four goals from his central midfield position last season further reiterated that though his job is not to hit the back of the net, he wants to go all out in that aspect.

“For a midfielder, generally it is not essential to score. But if I succeed in scoring it is even better. Scoring is very important to me and I will like to improve that aspect this coming season and with Caputo, I can do it,” Duncan added.
