Ghana’s Amuzu hails Kompany over extra training at Anderlecht

Ghana’s Francis Amuzu is happy with the extra training scheme of new Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany.

Anderlecht are currently playing through the wings and manager Kompany takes Amuzu and Jeremy Doku through special sessions to make them more vibrant after the normal training has ended.

Amuzu said the drill is keeping him in shape.

“After each training the manager (Kompany) takes me and Doku through extra finishing and that is good,” Amuzu told Het Laatste Nieuws.

“That is a point of work for both Jeremy and myself. We realize that the goal scoring has to be much better,” he added.

The duo are highly rated by Kompany and have featured in all of Anderlecht league games this season.
