Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante made history over the weekend as part of a trio to net 15 and more goals each in the American USL.

Asante had already surpassed the 15 goals mark together with Adam Jahn but their colleague Junior Flemmings goal against Portland Timbers II in the 5-3 away win put the trio in history books as the first players in one team in the American second tier to score fifteen goals and over in one campaign

Flemmings scored his 15th goal, joining teammates Solomon Asante and Adam Jahn as the first trio in USL Championship League history to score 15 goals or more each.

Asante has banged in 22 goals and provided sixteen assists in thirty games with Jahn netting fifteen and providing four assists in 29 games whilst Flemmings has also banged in fifteen goals and given seven assists in 27 games.

The trio have emerged as transfer target of several teams including DC United and Sporting Kanasas.
