Newly signed Al Wasl midfielder Basiru Alhassan has left Dubai with his team for Austria as they continue their pre-season camping.
Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that the energy-sapping holding midfielder left DXB Airport on Monday morning at exactly 6:00am for Vienna, Austria as manager Larentiu Reghecampf seeks to put finishing touches on his team ahead of the coming season.
Basiru joined Al Wasl from Dreams FC this summer after playing for Czech giants Sparta Praque on loan last season.
Among the traveling players is also midfielder George Dwubeng who joined the team in January this year.
Al Wasl will open their 2019/2020 UAE Arabian Gulf League campaign away to Al Nasr at the 15,000 capacity Al Maktoum Stadium on September 20.
