Ghanaian teenager Basiru Alhassan is confident Al Wasl will bounce back after their 3-1 defeat to Al Ain in the UAE Pro League match day two.

The tireless midfield enforcer replaced Khalid Sabeal in the 63rd minute in midweek and had a great game on his debut despite tasting defeat on home grounds.

Basiru mentioned that in spite of the loss they had a great game.

“I was hoping for a win on my debut but it did not happen, we lost by three goals to one. It was not a bad game but we lost concentration and it cost us,” Basiru told Dailymailgh.com

“Personally, my output was good. I am looking forward to the next game. We will go all out for a win.”

Basiru, 19, has previously played for Mighty Jets, Dreams FC as well as Czech Republic giants Sparta Praque.

He joined Al Wasl in the the 2019 summer transfer window.
