Ghana has seen a sharp improvement in its fight against coronavirus as the active cases now stand at 301 as of Sunday, October 11, 2020.
In its latest update, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) announced that 38 new cases have been confirmed pushing the national tally to 47,005 since the virus first entered the country in mid-March this year.
So far, 46,398 recoveries and discharges have also been confirmed while the death toll still remain at 306.
Since the airport was re-opened early September, 63 cases have been detected from international travelers, according to the GHS, of which 33 persons have recovered.
Two persons are currently on ventilators while 12 others remain in severe condition.
