Ghana’s coronavirus active cases plummet

The number of coronavirus active cases in Ghana keep dropping drastically on a daily basis as the country records high level of recoveries.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 reported that active COVID-19 cases stand at 564 as recoveries and discharges hit 44,797.

At least 54 new cases have been confirmed leaving the national case tally in the West African country at 45,655.

The death toll remains at 294.
