Ghana’s COVID-19 critical cases 3; severe 14

At least 17 COVID-19 positive persons in Ghana need constant monitoring due to their condition, the Ghana Health Service has revealed.

According to the GHS, three patients are in a critical condition, classifying that of 14 others as severe.

In a breakdown, the GHS said the University of Ghana Medical Centre is taking care of five of them, Ga East has three, Effia-Nkwanta and Ho Hospitals have one each, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital two, Komfo Anokye three and 37 Hospitals is taking care of two others.

Meanwhile, as at May 27, 2020, Ghana’s COVID-19 case counts stood at 7,303. The recoveries increased to 2,412.

The total number of deaths still stands at 34. A total of 205,890 tests have been administered.
