Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll hits 301; Airport cases now 37

Two persons have given up the race in a bid to recover from coronavirus in Ghana, taking the death toll to 301, health officials said.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) reports that 37 cases have been recorded at the Kotoka International Airport since it was re-opened to human traffic on September 1, 2020.

Currently, Ghana has confirmed a total of 46,482 cases after recording 38 new ones per the latest update.

The active cases stand at 530 following 45,651 recoveries in the West African country. Sixteen patients remain in severe situation as three others are on ventilators.
