Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Gyasi scored to power Spezia to victory against Pescara.

The Ghanaian forward grabbed his fifth league goal in the Italian second tier this season against former Serie A side Pescara on Wednesday night.

Defender Gennaro Scognamiglia scored an own goal four minutes after recess to give the host the advantage in the early minutes of the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes.

Gyasi added the second on the night and his fifth this season on the hour mark to make it 2-0 to the home team with 30 minutes of action left to play.

Spezia won the game 2-0 at home over a mid table side Pescara to keep their Serie A promotion dreams alive.
