Ghana’s Geoffrey Acheampong nets brace for AC Kajaani in first league game

Ghanaian international Geoffrey Acheampong scored brace for AC Kajaani in their 2-2 draw at home to FF Jaro.

The Ghanaian playmaker joined the Finnish second tier side from LA Galaxy II and has hit the ground running by scoring a twice for his side in their first league game of the season.

Acheampong opened the scoring on the 24th minutes to put the host in front with a sizzling finish.

Nigerian international Anthony Olusanya equalized for FF Jaro two minutes after the hour mark to level matters before the break.

One minute after recess, Severi Kahkonen scored the second for the visitors to make it 2-1 to complete the comeback with all to play for.

The 23-year-old scored a 90th minutes last gasp goal to salvage a point for the Red and Blacks in their open game of the season in Finland.
