Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil bagged brace for KRC Genk in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Sunday afternoon at Club Brugge to inspire his team to victory.
The Ghanaian international scored the first goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just 12 minutes with a brilliant strike to make things difficult for the home team very early in the encounter.
He scored again for the Blue and Whites outfit as they won 3-1 on the road in the playoffs of the 2022-23 Belgium top-flight league.
Hans Vanaken made it 1-1 with a nice goal four minutes after the hour mark but Patrik Hrosovsky restored the lead for Genk eight minutes away from the full time whistle.
Paintsil scored again for the away team four minutes to the end of the match as Genk won the game comfortably in the end.
The 25-year-old Ghana attacker has 16 goals and 14 assists this season in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League for KRC Genk.
