Ghana’s Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Southampton debut in Premier League ends in heavy defeat

Ghanaian forward Kamaldeen Sulemana’s debut in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Brentford FC ended in a heavy defeat.


The former French Ligue 1 side Stade de Rennes star player suffered a 3-0 defeat on his Southampton debut to Brentford football club on the road at the Middlesex stadium.

Kamaldeen came on as a second-half substitute for Mohamed Elyounoussi at the start of the second 45 minutes of the entertainment encounter.

The home team scored two goals in the opening half of the match to go to the break leading 2-0.

Matthias Jensen scored the third goal inside the 80th minute mark to hand Kamaldeen Sulemana a big defeat on his Southampton debut.

Kamaldeen played the entire second 45 minutes of the match for the Saints but couldn’t help them back into the game as he got baptized in his first outing in the most talked about league in the world.
