Ghana’s playmaker Mohammed Kudus opens goal account for Ajax against Cambuur

Ghanaian playmaker Mohammed Kudus was on target for Dutch giant AFC Ajax Amsterdam on Saturday evening in the Eredivisie at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Kudus was a second half substitute as he came on at the start of the second 45 minutes of the match to play his biggest minutes this season.

He announced his presence 14 minutes after coming on with a very close range finish to open his goal account for the Red and Whites outfit this campaign.

Steven Bergwijn scored twice in the second half of the match to put the hosts 2-0 up before the break.

At the start of the second half, Kudus came on to replace Brian Brobbey to play the entire second 45 minutes of the match.

After Devyne Rensch made it 3-0 to the home team, Kudus added the fourth goal after 64 minutes, converting from close range with his weaker foot and into the bottom left corner.

The game ended 4-0 to Ajax.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has one goal to his name this season in the Dutch Eredivisie.
