Ghanaian midfielder Obeng Regan put up a man of the match performance on Sunday as NK Istra drew 1-1 with giants Hadjuk Split in the Croatian top flight.

The Ghanaian central midfielder was the main act in the middle of the pitch with his one man show to help his side record a draw against the in-form side.

Regan sprayed passes to every corner of the field and his ability to also dribble and release his colleagues was vital for his side at the Aldo Drossina Stadium.

“It was a great game, we wanted to win but we could only get a draw. They are the league leaders,” Regan told Dailymailgh.com

“We will do our home work and win our next game. We can build on this draw for the better.”

Regan was NK Istra’s best player last season and has played nine games so far this campaign scoring one goal.
