Former West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) striker Samuel Tetteh found his name on the score sheet as LAsk walloped Mattersburg 7-2 at home on Saturday.
Mattersburg took the lead just six minutes into the game through Andreas Gruber with Gernot Trauner getting the equalising goal four minutes later for the home side.
Thomas Goiginger gave the home side the lead in the 24th minute before Nedeljko Malic put the away side back on level pegging only for Reinhold Ranftl to restore the home team’s lead before the break in the Austrian Bundesliga.
LAsk Linz did not look back after recess and took full charge of the game by adding three goals to their tally within a space of 10 minutes with strikes from Marko Raguz on 64 minute with Goiginger and Ranftl both scoring their brace on the 70th and 74th minute respectively, making it 6-2 with 16 minutes left to play.
The 23-year-old Tetteh who came on as a second half sub on the 72nd minute, replacing two-goal hero Goiginger spent just seven minutes on the field to find his name on the score board making the final score 7-2 to the home side.
It was Tetteh’s second goal of the season. He also has an assist.
