Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo is in red hot form after scoring his 5th goal of the season in his side’s 2-3 home defeat to Najran SC in the Saudi Arabian League on Wednesday.

The former police officer scored a 44th minute goal to put his team Al Khaleej ahead in the game before the end of half time after team mate Aldosari put the home side in front on the 4th only for the away side to equalize through Carlos Batista’s 10th minute strike.

The visitors drew level on the 70th minute through Mohammed Soquori.

The former Liberty Professionals defender was shown the exit on the 80th minutes after a bad tackle. The away side took full charge of the match with their numerical advantage and grabbed the third goal with just two minutes left to play when attacker Halwaini sealed a victory for Najran SC.

Al Khaleej lie 14th on the league log with just 9 points and could be in real trouble in the absence of the Ghanaian defender who’s arguably their best centre back so far this season.
