Ghana’s Sensational kid Kamaldeen Sulemana has been nominated for the 2022 CAF Young Player of the Year award following his explosive performances in the French Ligue 1.

The 20-year-old had an amazing and exciting start to the season in France following his move from Denmark Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2021.

He banged in four goals and provided two assists in 20 league matches in the French top-flight.

Sulemana also played at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon in January for the Black Stars when they finished last in the group.

Kamaldeen was a delight to watch in the French Ligue 1 for Stade de Rennes until he picked up an injury after the AFCON tournament in Cameroon.

Due to his impressive showings in the French Ligue 1 and helping Ghana in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, CAF has shortlisted the player for the prestigious award.
