Ghana star Mohammed Kudus has been included in Forbes Africa’s 2023 30 Under 30 list as one of the only two Ghanaians to make the list for the year.
The AFC Ajax Amsterdam star made the list along with Ghanaian videographer Emmanuel Whajah who’s also a creative director.
The list includes 30 of Africa’s most creative innovators under the age of 30 from the fields of business, technology, creatives, sport, and science/health.
After finally overcoming injury and settling at Ajax, the 22-year-old is currently enjoying his most productive spell in front of goal.
Kudus has arguably been Ghana’s most in-form player in the ongoing football season with an outstanding performance at the World Cup.
Kudus became the first ever Ghanaian to score a brace in a single world cup game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar against South Korea.
The 22-year-old midfielder has overcome injury and has been prolific this season, contributing 18 goals and five assists in all competitions for Ajax. Kudus scored twice and provided one assist for Ghana at the World Cup.
Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 recognises Africa’s most innovative visionaries, change-makers, risk-takers, and pioneers under 30 years of age in categories such as Business, Technology, Creatives, Sport, and Science/Health.
