Ghana’s star player Kudus Mohammed’s sumptuous strike against Liverpool named Goal-Of-The-Month

Ghana’s star player Mohammed Kudus has won the AFC Ajax Amsterdam Goal-Of-The-Month award for September with his sumptuous strike against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.

The former Right to Dream Academy graduate scored a jaw-breaking goal to yo restore parity for for the Dutch Eredivisie team at the Anfield few weeks ago.

The home team scored late in the game to snatch a 2-1 victory but Kudus’ special goal was the most talked about afterwards.

The 22-year-old was given the Lasse Schöne prize ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Napoli in the Champions League where he described the goal as a “hell of a strike”.

His other goal against Rangers in the Champions League amongst others was nominated for the award which he eventually won with his strike to win the monthly award.

The former FC Nordsjaelland player has been in a superb form this season having scored in three matches in the Champions League consecutively.
